A very different month from August and although the rainfall for the month was some 50% above the average for September, it was much drier than August with the bulk of the rain falling in the final week.
Temperatures was also well within the normal range for the month.
A month that will be long remembered for the amount of rain that fell. Rainfall on the one day (9th August) was equal to the entire monthly average. Infact the rain that fell through the entire month was over four times the average for August!
A warm month hitting a temperature high of 28.6 deg C on the 25th which, coupled with a humid atmosphere, produced a lot of rain. The rainfall overall for the month was double the average for July.
A very disappointing month, very wet with three times the average rainfall for June. Temperatures only started to show any improvement in the last few days of the month but, because of the predominant easterly wind direction, still remained below average.
A wet month, with rainfall 50% above the average for May.
Temperatures were also at times lower than usual with the thermometer beneath zero on a couple of occasions and beneath the previous record low of zero set in 1995.
An interesting month with higher than average rainfall (average for April 36 mm) and mainly falling in the first few days of the month. Easter temperatures of 23.6° C broke the 2011 record of 23° C
Very windy and wet during the first half of the month, with twice the average rainfall, but becoming more settled with average temperatures during the second half of the month.
An unusual month: a little snow at the start but becoming warmer than average in the second half of the month, with the temperature breaking the previous record of 18° C (2009) by reaching 19.2° C on the 26th of the month.
A relatively quiet month with rainfall less than average and temperatures only really dipping at the end of the month. No lying snow in Glanton during the month but arriving within the final hours of the 31st.
